Drinking 2 Litres of Water Day

My third resolution for the New Year is to drink at least 2 litres of water a day. For someone who drinks no water at all this is going to be sort of hard. One time I drank so much water and skin was revive, I felt great and then I never drank it again. Here is a friendly reminder of why it is great and how to drink more of it.

1. Water make you more alert and awake and gives you energy, first thing in the morning drinking a glass of water will energise you and get rid of fatigue. Maybe having a glass straight after brushing your teeth or fitting into spare places in your daily routine. Using a water app on your phone to set reminders can help a lot or having a cool water bottle with have reminder prompts.

2. It helps with weightloss, it fills your stomach and makes you feel fuller, it has no calories and it helps improve your metabolism, win win. Going to make sure I work out more with a big bottle of water at the ready. Before I start working out and at the end.

3. Drinking lots of water is a good way to reduce toxins in your body and to detox making you feel more healthy and reducing the risk of infections and the like. Water is free and drinking it in mix with squash, tea or coffee can help you drink more of it.

4. It is amazing for your skin and clears you complexion, moisturizes your skin, keeps it fresh, soft, glowing and smooth. Any way to reduce spots is a solution that wins my heart. You can drink infused water with fruit and veg i it if the taste if not your favourite, it will make it more refreshing and make drinking water more enjoyable.

The main thing I’ve got to do is incorporate it more into my diet and my daily routine. Using skincare products is not enough for my skin and have to look after it from the inside out. Here’s to drinking more water and peeing so much more!
