Skincare Products – Favourites

You know those times when you look at all the products you put on your face and realise WOW I use so much, well that time has come for me. I decided to organise my skincare products and figure out which ones I love the most and which work best for me. Here are a list of those winners and products which i recommend. Most of these products I have been using for a while so I chose them based on how they work over a period of time.

Numero Uno: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser – I’m not Spanish, who am I trying to kid haha. I love because it includes eucalyptus and cocoa butter which leaves your skin fabulously smooth. You use a muslin cloth which has been soaked in hot water to wipe off the cream after you have applied it your face. This is perfect if you want to remove stubborn makeup or just want a deep-clean and riddance of grime on your face. Leaves my skin feeling fresh and renewed.

Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser – Good thing about this product is that it comes in different versions for different skin types. I have the combination skin-type one and it works like a dream. I only have a small bottle but it have lasted quite a while. I don’t need to use  lot when applying. It gently moisturises and conditions my skin without leaving a n uncomfortable layer. I use this after cleansing and exfoliating. This stuff is magic.

£20.25 for the full sized version.

SASS Intimate Purifying Cleanser – This a slightly weird one as it’s not a cleanser for your face, it’s a cleanser for your lovely areas. I don’t use this product a lot but when I do, it is not harsh and it is perfect for sensitive skin. Very close to pH balance of the vagina, it is light and gently cleanses.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic – Okay Okay I think I’m a little bit obsessed with Liz Earle products. But there is a reason, they work so damn good and they have products of such good quality. So it is a toner, but we’d rather call it a tonic. It is non-drying unlike a lot of other toners and it smells actually quite pleasant. It also has cucumber and chamomile in it and as well has toning your face it also adds a layer of moisture. The small bottle really packs a punch.

£6 for the small bottle 50ml.

Talika Photo Hydra Day Cream – This is the future people, this is skincare and technology combined. The cream has a light, gel based consistency moisturiser and it instantly absorbs into the skin; cooling, calming and hydrating as it does so. It uses the energy from natural light to deeply moisturise and hydrate the skin. Anyone else thinking photosynthesis, it’s magic. The cream creates a water reservoir within the skin cells and plumps the skin for a rejuvenating and youthful effect. I love this product because I think it’s really cool and I am able to use it no matter what the weather, come sun or rain.

Naobay Calmer Face Toner – Toner’s are becoming my favourite product and are perfect for removing stubborn traces of makeup and impurities from the skin. This one in particular is a natural and organic product and also cleanses, tones and soothes the skin with  ingredients, chamomile and gotu kola extracts.

Great collection there. I find I use a lot of products too. It’s amazing how many layers you can put on your face, not even including all the makeup afterwards ….lol.

I have heard of this brand before, but I must admit I have never tried them. The do look great though – thank for sharing such a great review

Never hear of this brand. Got myself a toner but hardly ever use it. Don’t think I would splash the cash for these just because I probably wouldn’t use them in the end.
