Beauty Haul – November

After receiving my first Glossy Box as a gift from a friend, I knew it was love. Since then I have subscribed and been trying out new products every month. The fabulous thing about it all is that you get each full-sized product at a fraction of the price that you would pay for it separately. Not only that but it is a great way to find out about small, brands and expand your make-up horizons. In this post I shall be trying out and reviewing the products that I received. Hope you enjoy!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

Lipsticks are probably my favourite beauty product, I feel naked without it. I got a lovely nude shade and although it’s autumn it is a nice product to take a break from the bold looks with. Infused with vitamin E and a hydrating avocado oil, this lipstick felt nice and light on my lips throughout the day. Revlon as a brand never disappoint on the lipstick front, every one I own is loved.

Royal Apothic Body Lotion

The cream smelt lovely and that’s not something that happens usually. The packaging was pretty and looked like a high quality product. As far as creams go however, I am one of those unfortunate few who just can never get enough moisture. The cream applied well and smelt nice for a long time after application but it just didn’t give me the moisture I needed. For someone with normal skin however, the product would work well and would be a lovely addition to your collection.

Emite Diamond Heart Primer

Not usually one to use primer before applying make-up as I just hope for the best and hope everything stays on. But trying out this one changed my mind completely. I do cheerleading which requires a full face of make up and sometimes we end up in the rain and horrible winds. However, using this primer beforehand had my makeup clinging to my skin, it was robust it wasn’t going anywhere. Even with rain dripping down my face I still looked the same as if I had just applied my makeup. I definitely recommend this, so lightweight and perfect for a smooth finish.

Eyelure NATURAL Lashes

Eyelure is a well-known brand and a favourite of mine for eyelashes, they never disappoint. However, I have never used the natural lashes, I always use the dramatic pow pow in your face type lashes. They were super easy to apply and their glue is made by the Gods always on point. I used them for a natural look and a subtle boost in length and volume.

MUA Undressed EyeShadow Palette

I had heard of MUA before but hadn’t used their eye shadows only their lipsticks and lip liners. The brand is very affordable and accessible in local high shops. The colours available were metallic and matte and so using this product provided quite a bit of versatility. I was able to create the beloved smokey eye look using it; no need for expensive luxury products – I looked a million dollars haha.

I don’t wear lipsticks often has they dry my lips out, so I tend to stick to just lip balms, but this lipstick sounds great

These look great, I love the look of the lipstick and the eyeshadows too. I really need to get some more makeup – and treat myself
